Himalayan Nature (HN) along with other conservation partners viz. Koshi Bird Society (KBS) and Nepal Ornithological Union (NOU) organised a BIRD WATCHING EVENT at north-eastern part of the Koshi basin through its research field station Kosi Bird Observatory (KBO). Twenty bird enthusiasts from HN, KBS, NOU and local students actively participated in the event. The event started with a short informal briefing programme at KBO where professional bird guides briefed on importance of birds, migratory birds and celebration of World Migratory Bird Day. They also emphasized on the theme of this year 'Protect Birds: Be the Solution to Plastic Pollution'. Koshi basin is a well known route for migratory birds in Nepal.
